Yes and no. He has proven he is an excellent coach for sure, and proven he
can win the ACC multiple times. But the truly "great" or "elite" coaches (where we want him to be when he retires) all have a slew of deep NCAAT runs and usually multiple FFs on their resumes, if not titles. People say Dean Smith only won it all twice, but he had 11 FFs. K has 12. Roy 9.
Pitino has 5 (at three different schools). And so on. I think for Tony to be anywhere near that echelon of coaches he would need at least a handful of regional titles. [Post edited by WahooRQ at 01/22/2019 3:06PM]
